Orthogonal Binary Sequences with Wide Range of Correlation Properties

چکیده
In this paper, we propose a simple method for modifying Walsh-Hadamard spreading sequences to improve their correlation properties for asynchronous DS CDMA applications, while maintaining their orthogonality for perfect synchronization. Simulation results for the DS CDMA systems utilizing 32-chip modified WalshHadamard sequences and are presented and compared to those achieved in the case of system utilizing pure 32-chip Walsh-Hadamard sequences.

Modeling Solubility Behavior of CO2 in [C2-mim][BF4] and [C4-mim][BF4] Ionic Liquids by sPC-SAFT Equation of State
The simplified perturbed chain statistical associating fluid theory (sPC-SAFT) Equation of State (EOS) was proposed to describe the thermodynamic properties of pure ionic liquids (ILs). A set of sPC-SAFT parameters for 2 ILs was obtained by fitting the experimental liquid densities data over a wide range of temperature at atmospheric pressure. Good agreement with experimental density data was o...
متن کاملExperimental Investigation in Pool Boiling Heat Transfer of Pure/Binary Mixtures and Heat Transfer Correlations
Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient have been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater for various liquid binary mixtures. Measurements are based on more than three hundred data points on a wide range of concentrations and heat fluxes. In this investigation, it has been confirmed that the heat transfer coefficient in boiling solutions are regularly less than those in p...
متن کاملA ternary zero-correlation zone sequence sets construction procedure
In the present paper, we propose ternary zero-correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets with ideal correlation properties for phase shifts within the ZCZ. The proposed ternary ZCZ sequence sets can be constructed from binary mutually orthogonal complementary sets (MOCS) and ternary perfect sequences.
متن کاملOn Pseudo-Random and Orthogonal Binary Spreading Sequences
Different pseudo-random or pseudo-noise (PN) as well as orthogonal sequences that can be used as spreading codes for code division multiple access (CDMA) cellular networks or can be used for encrypting speech signals to reduce the residual intelligence are investigated. We briefly review the theoretical background for direct sequence CDMA systems and describe the main characteristics of the max...
متن کاملCombined binary pulse position modulation/biorthogonal modulation for direct-sequence code division multiple access
A novel modulation format is proposed for cellular direct-sequence CDMA systems where a user-specific spreading sequence is binary pulse position and biorthogonally modulated to form a set of biorthogonal spreading sequences. The modulation scheme trades the signal space used for spreading sequences with that for modulation while a global space is fixed. The interference is mainly determined by...
